String Art Fun Christmas patterns reviewed

There is still time to make some quick and easy string art pictures as Christmas decorations. String Art Fun Value Pack No. 2: Christmas available from the String Art Fun web site has six patterns made using colourful drawing pins (thumb tacks) together with sparkly decorative cords and ribbons to give a festive look to the pictures.

Christmas patternsThe pack contains Christmas bauble, bells, candles, crown, star and tree. The patterns are also available individually.

Since the design uses drawing pins, several layers of strong cardboard are sufficient for the backing. The design can be printed directly onto thin coloured card and mounted on the backing to be used as a guide as well as becoming part of the decoration. The pattern size is approximately 300 mm x 210 mm (12 x 8 ½ inches).

Patterns on the String Art Fun web site are delivered by download to your computer in PDF format.

  1. I want to thank you for the lovely pattern. My husband & I used to do string art (when we were first married (some 34 years ago). He would do the nailing & I would do the stringing. It was a great time to “bond”. We also did “3 dimensial string art” They sold a “kit” on TV. THere were four large poster sized pictures which you initially decoupaged. THen you strung a part of the picture.

It’s time to begin again! Thank you for reminding me of a much more “laid-back”, uncomplicated life style. I need to revisit & the directions which you have placed for free may just help us “rekindle the strings of our relationship”!!

  2. That is a heart warming story Judy. Thank you for sharing it with us.
